1:38 pm - Still alive.... Still kickin'
|
I want you all to know that I am still alive. Tho, I never post in this or any other site. If I get a spare second on the computer, it is checking myspace.... I am surprised LJ is still around. I just check it every now and then to see who still posts. I am doing great. Kids, husband, dogs, house, white picket fence.... well, not fenced, but the good old American Dream, I guess. How everyone is good....

8:41 am - BALLS
|
Holy crap! It had been so long since I had seen this site that I forgot my password and had to request the reset deal. So, for a bit, I will be back in the game, I guess. I am not even sure what my last post was about or when… I am typing this up in word and then going to paste it into livejournal later. I am still working at JCP. Over 7 years now! WOW. I always used to say that I would not work here forever, but now I will say that I will probably retire from here. No use throwing away this much time somewhere because I have no real complaints. Let’s see…. New friends: Connie. She is such a wonderful friend. She is the only person in a long time who can put me in the best mood of my life just by walking in the room. She is so funny and we laugh together so much. Michelle. She is super gorgeous and understanding. She is someone that I can trust with anything. Someone that I feel like I can talk to about anything whenever I need to. Michael I. This is not by best friend Michael, it is another one. He is in my dept. We have become SUPER good friends. He makes me smile and makes work very good to be at. No, he is not my lover. He is gay. Yeah yeah…. I am not person to be friends with any gay guy because of the run ins that I have had with other gay men. I clash hard with the drama and feminine bull shit that they bring…. But I LOVE this guy. He is super cute! Danielle. I am re-kindling my lost friendship with my 2nd cousin Danielle. She is the most like me of any human being alive. I swear we are twins, separated at birth. Except she is skinner and prettier. Uh, that is about all of the new friends that I have since I posted last. New news: Justin and I are FABULOUS! More so than we have been in a long time. We bought a home about 2 months ago. It is in West Valley, in a nice neighborhood. We love it. It is a lot of room. We do not even see certain rooms very often, but we will grow into it, I am sure. I had an ovary removed about a year ago. I had an eptopic pregnancy and the fetus was sitting on top of the ovary and as it grew it put pressure on the ovary and made it “explode”. I have 34 oz of blood in my belly when I finally was taken to the ER. Had a blood transfusion and surgery and now I am good as new. No more of that health crap. No one wants to hear about that stuff. Sorry.
Anyway, I hope everyone is well. See ya!

Life update…
Still working at JCP. Have never hated it this bad since I started. Told my husband that I was going to start looking for another job. One that has benefits that do not take my whole check. A job that has a Christmas Party at night where you can bring a date. Also, preferred, a non-female environment, except for me. I hate working with women!
Went to Portland for Thanksgiving. It was a nice trip. Spent 5 days there. It was like I was in another world with no cares whatsoever about Utah.
Not on speaking terms with my sister as the last time she saw me, she told me I was the crudest person she has EVER met in her life. What a jerk, and SO untrue. I know A LOT more crude people that me. Maybe she is the most judgmental person I know????
Lost contact with a lot of people that mean a lot to me. Not because I am angry or do not care, just lazy and retarded.
I have the #1 best husband of ALL TIME! Without going into personal detail, just know that I love him and he makes me happy.
My boys are fabulous. Caleb is so smart. Payton hates Santa with a passion. I watch them together and laugh every night.
I hope everyone is wonderful and have a really great season no matter what that means for you……… JW’s……uh……….. May Jehovah keep the carolers away from your doors???????

8:09 am - Halloween weekend
|
Ah, back at work after a long Halloween weekend. Justin and I went to 2 parties Saturday night. I was a devil with my body painted red and my hair sprayed black. It was a great costume… Just was just a guy with bullet holes in his face and blood on him and hit hair sprayed black. He looked hot though. Him brother, Johnny also came with us. He was a pimp. Anyway, the first party we went to was my friend’s family party. My friend and her boyfriend were Shrek and Fiona. Totally the best costumes I have EVER seen. They looked damn good. We hung out there for a bit and then headed for my cousins party. Justin’s other brother and his friend showed up along with my brother and his girlfriend. My cousin’s husband was so drunk, that he and my brother almost got in a fight because my brother likes U of U and the other guy likes BYU. I know, dumb thing to fight about. Anyway we all had to stand between them to break them up. It was ugly. Then later that night and an ENTIRE bottle of Jaeger for my cousins husband, he was trying to fight Justin’s brother for not doing shots with him. DUHR! It was a lot of drama and maybe we just should have been safe and stayed home with our boys…??? I went over there the next day to pick up my camera and the guy does not remember a THING, only that he woke up with a puffy cut open eye and my cousin telling him that this guy in the military got agitated and did that to him and them put him in a sleeper hold to get him to go nighty-night! Never again, I’ll tell ya!
Watched The Notebook last night. SOOOO good. I cried and cried.
Made $180 from Mary Kay, spur of the moment yesterday. Good thing too, cuz I was running low on funds.
More later….

3:44 pm - Getting under my skin...
|
A friend of mine gave me a cool idea. This entry will be one dedicated to all the things that get under my skin or just, plain piss me off…
* When people drive slow in the fast lane. Gosh, sometimes I will I were in a tank! * When people concentrate more on talking on their cell phones than driving their car. Bullet in the back of the head for you buddy! * When people say “Back in the day”. What day?? * Nike, Oakley, or any other logo like that on your car… Are they paying you to advertise?? * Reverse Racism… What the F*ck??? That was like 100 years ago!!! * Racism… Do you honestly think that your “honky” ass is better than anyone else? * Know-it-alls * Hemorrhoids… Uh…… * Teva’s with socks * Muscle tank tops… I do not care if you actually have muscles… They must go!!! * When a girl’s bra show under her arm… Go back to your trailer! * Someone talking to you with bad breath… If you think that you may have bad breath, stick some gum in that hole! * Shit talkers… Ah, if only they’d say it to my face… * Hypochondriacs… Do you want me to give you something to cry about?
I just lost all of my good ones writing this. I will post more later…

2:22 pm - another story from the Ghetto....
|
Naked Girl Justin and my friends, Sonja and her husband Jake, came over one Saturday night to watch Dracula as I had never seen it before. Sonja and I were having some drinks. The guys stayed sober. Sonja and I decided to slide down my stairs using something to make us go really fast. We thought of wrapping ourselves in a blanket and going. She we were doing that getting rug burns on our calves and bruising the crap out of our butts, but still laughing the whole time. We ended up messing around in my basement. We were dancing in a black light that I have down there and then I picked up a horn and was blowing it up against the wall to give my noisy neighbors a run for their money. Sonja was laughing hysterically at me. I found a big huge glow in the dark dildo ring toss that I got for my bachalorette party that I had not seen since. I decided to hang it out of my pants and go outside, knock on my neighbors door, who I did not know and had only met one of the guys once in passing, and tell them that if they did not turn the stereo down I was going to screw him in the ass with that thing. I thought, “ha ha, I will be the freaky neighbor lady.” When I go there and knocked, this little “Goth” chick answered the door and said “hello” I immediately saw behind her a butt naked girl in tall black boots. She ran over to me and stroked my fate wiener hanging out of my pants. I said, “Is Nokie home?” They said, “yeah, he’s in the kitchen.” I walked past them into the house and saw a group of people playing cards at the table. The naked girl had followed me and was standing next to me looking at me while I continued to say, in a really shaky voice, “if you don’t quiet down in here, I will screw you in the ass with this thing.” They just laughed at me and were like, “Oh my God, you are so cool. You should party with us.” Buzzed and in shock I could still see the naked girl standing next to me, so I turned to her and said, “why are you naked?” She said, “because of this….” She started dancing all erotic like a freaky stripper. She then went to the arm of the couch kind of behind me and bent over it and was all dancing nasty with her butt in my face. She has slap marks all over her butt. Then she turned around and kind of sat on the arm of the couch and put her legs up into a V and I could see straight down her crotch. No Kidding…. I was so shocked that it felt like I was frozen. I just stared at her with my mouth open having never seen anything like this before. A second later, Justin flung the door open, wondering why I’d been in there so long and saw the girl, opened his eyes really big, looked at me, looked back at the girl, said “uh, hi”, looked back at me and said “Jeannie some on!” I walked out the door and told Sonja and Jake, “there is a naked girl in there and she just shook her junk at me!!!” I went back into my house and sat on the couch staring at the wall wondering what the heck just happened. Weirdest thing ever….

3:59 pm - a little catch up....
|
I know, I know…. You all are probably heartbroken thinking “where the heck is Jeannie? Has she dropped off of the face of the earth?” Well no, I have not. I just have no time to post in LJ anymore. I have actually been working. Yeah actually caring about my job and the impact I make here at old JCP. Well, no really, just VERY limited use of the internet.
Let’s see…. What has been going on……..? Well, we live in the ghetto where there is nothing but trash and ciaos. I hate South Salt Lake more than I can say. I’d rather live in freaking Ogden than where I am at now. I will add a couple stories from my book in progress entitled Another Day in the Ghetto. Hope you enjoy….
# 1 Last night I was sitting on my chair in my living room reading when there was a knock on my door. I could see out the window a guy standing there with a chest holster with guns in it. I got up and moved a bit and could then see about 6-7 dudes (Federal Marshals) in front of my porch with bullet-proof vests, chest holsters, and guns...... lot's of guns. I opened my door and could see that they were about to charge my neighbors door. Well, as many of you may know, one of my best friends, Ricci, lives there. I said, "What is going on?" One of the guys looked at me and harshly said, "Close your door!" I shut my door but went to the window to see what was going on. I was scared that something had happened to Ricci. sidetrack: My other friend, Janey, has a son (Anthony) that just spent 3 1/2 years in Prison and got out about 3 weeks ago on parole with an ankle monitor. He was released 2 years early for good behavior. They moved in last weekend on the other side of Ricci. I have gotten to know her son. He seems really hard but cool. Justin and him even bonded. K so, all of the sudden they came out with Anthony. They took him back on a warrant for a 2nd degree Felony which is 1-15 years in the Federal Penitentiary. I guess he's stabbed someone in prison a year into his sentence. They have 72 hours to charge you when you are in there and if they don't, they can't until you are released. AH, my first encounter with a felon and Federal Marshals.....
# 2 After a long hard day of moving and unpacking, Justin and I hit the sack. At about 3:00 in the morning we were woken up by our bed literally jumping up and down to the loudest music ever. This music was so loud you could hear every single word in the song. It was coming from the neighbors to the West. We did not know what to do. We did not want to call the cops because it would stir up trouble with our new neighbors. Justin did not want to go over there for fear they were some weird-o’s and beat his butt. So we just lay there agonizing.
Come to find out, it also woke up the neighbors on the other side of me. They were sleeping in the basement and could hear it all the way through our walls and into theirs and then downstairs. The husband is an X-gang member and pretty badass. He went marching over there in his PJ’s and told them to turn that shit down so that he could sleep.
Of course that was not the last time they had the music too loud. Since then we’ve called the cops twice and the landlord once for the music.
# 3 Last night Justin and I were laying in bed when Caleb came running up the stairs freaking out. "I saw a huge, black rat run across the kitchen floor!" So I got out of bed, went downstairs, and put 6 of those sticky traps around the kitchen with a little chunk of cheese on each one. I laid in bed after that for about an hour thinking about dosing that little "rat" with lighter fluid and torching it. I was literally stewing in the thought of making that creature scream. I was so excited for the next morning to come. This morning I got up and sure as sh*t, that little, gray mouse was wiggling around stuck to one of the traps. I picked the trap up, got the lighter fluid, and headed outside. As I stood there holding the lighter fluid in one hand and the helpless, little mouse with his bottom lip and side of his body stick to the trap in the other, I could not bring myself to watch myself torture this little guy. SO I decided that the SOB can starve to death right next to a big chunk of cheese in the bottom of the dumpster. And there he lays............
# 4 So ever since we moved in to the place there has been this stench in there and I had no idea what it was. I thought it was in the walls or just because the place was a bit older. When the air conditioner has not been on all day it is REALLY bad. We turn the fans on right as we walk in to move the smell out a bit. Well, yesterday we came home and it was pretty stinky so we turned on our fans as usual. After a bit Justin was in the kitchen and he was like, "Gosh, it really stinks in here like freaking carcass!" He followed the smell to the back of the fridge. He pulled the fridge out and got down there and was looking underneath it. There was a freaking dead mouse under there rotting. GROSS!!!!! Anyway, he took the mouse out to the dumpster and bleached the heck out of the floor and fridge and now the smell is gone.... YIPPEE!!!!
These are nothing compared to the stories I have in the book. Seriously. These are the most mellow. At the time I am compete, I will post it is LJ and you all will be floored and think twice before ever moving to South Sale Lake.
Payton is the cutest child ever created, but most likely the brattiest. Caleb is wonderful and smarter than I could have imagined of him.
Justin and I have never been happier as a couple. I love him and cherish him.
Until next time….. I really hope all is well for you….

It has been forever since I last posted. I do not get that many opportunities to post so I am going to try to give a nice sum up of my life the past couple months. I am still at JCP. I got a job here as a Program Administrator in the Corporate card dept. It has been great. I am learning a lot and am happy in this area. Justin and I are doing wonderful. I think we are better now than we have ever been. We are really close and so happy. We are in the process of cleaning up our credit (well, my credit) so that we can buy a house. I think that within about 9 months, we will be in a house of our own and finally be able to put down our roots here in Utah. Portland would be ideal, but who knows what will happen in the next months ahead. Caleb is doing great too. He is about the same. He started Cub Scouts and loves it. It is good for him to get outdoors with kids his age and do fun things. Payton is growing us. He is walking now. He is so cute. I think he’s got a bit of an attitude but, hopefully, with time he will get over his screaming fits. He is still cute tho, so it makes it tolerable. The past 4 or 5 weekends we have had our nieces, Tosha and Tieara. They are 12 and 15 and are so much fun. They are really grown up but make be feel like a gitty teenager again. We go for drives and they yell at every boy they see. I love spending time with them. My friend, Janey, moved in 2 doors down so mow it is me, Ricci, and Janey all living together right next to each other. It is like a dorm. We are having a fun summer. Dad went away to Dallas for flight school for a couple months. I think it is better to say flight school, than what it really is, flight attendant school. It is just weird saying my dad is a flight attendant. He came home Saturday, but did not call me L. He has left again this morning to report in Oakland for orientation. He will be stationed there so we will go from seeing him once every 4 months or so to, maybe once a year. I am sad. I gotta get back to work. Hopefully I will have time to update more later.

For those of you who are wondering, we here at JCP have no internet access now. We have limited access to an "internet cafe" that we can use on our breaks and lunches. This is why a lot of us here are not posting as often. It just simply is not as fun here without the use of the internet to help us pass the time. I know that you probably can imagine what it must be like to be stuck behind a computer for 8-10 hours a day with no internet access......... It SUCKS! Until next time...... Be wonderful everyone!

“Monday Monday!”
Monday mornings are just the worst. I mean, it is the longest actual time until the weekend again and that just bites! Thursday is the big move. I cannot express the excitement inside of me for this. So much more space. I mean like 10 times as much space. How wonderful! The weekend was pretty boring. I did not do much. I went to the DI with my mom and sister Saturday. That was an experience. I want to go to another one, or Savers. It is fun and a new hobby. My sister is a freaking Ebay addict and she got these brand new, never been worn, Napoleon Dynamite Boots to sell on Ebay. Yes, they are being bid on as we speak at triple what she paid for them. Amazing how people will buy junk! Have an interview in 10 minutes. This will be the 3rd in 2 weeks. Cross your fingers. MK is good. The gym is not so good. I am lacking the motivation. Someone please HELP ME! Payton says his fist words now. He says “thank you” when you give him something. SO CUTE! I feel good. I have not been sick for so long now. My family has not either. I am thankful for that. So happy to hear from Dragonnest again. I’ve been thinking of you. Hope you are doing well! Late Happy Birthday to Jenn!

 | You scored as Islam. Your beliefs are most similar to those of Islam. Do more research on Islam and possibly consider taking the shahadah and officially becoming a Muslim, if you aren't already.
Despite the actions of some - who go against the teachings of Islam - Islam is a religion of peace; the word "islam" means "peace through submission to God." "Muslim" means "one who submits to God." Islam is the third of the three Abrahamic faiths, and it shares much with Judaism in Christianity; its differences are the acceptance of Muhammad as the last and final prophet, and the oneness of God - in other words, that Jesus, though he was a revered prophet, was not in fact God, and only one God exists. Apparently the Taliban could not read (though their name means "students"), because the Qur'an states that men and women are equal as believers, and that all believers should be educated and seek knowledge. Modesty in dress and behavior is required in Islam for both men and women to preserve the values of society and move the emphasis from superificial appearance to intelligence, knowledge, and God.

I took the day off yesterday for my mom’s birthday and we had lunch at PF Changs. Our waiter was the blonde guy from Napoleon Dynamite. It was so funny. He was super cool.
I also spent about 3 hours at the hospital with David. Let me just summarize…. Davis is my 15 year old step nephew who’s mother died of a drug overdose and his dad is in prison for having a meth lab in his house. My stepmother in law has custody of him now. My father in law hates him and treats him like crap all of the time. David also has been molested twice by 2 adult men. He has horrible psychological problems. When I started to get to know him and heard about his story, I was immediately drawn to him. I just feel like he needs a couple positive role models in his life. Someone who will love him and help him. I have kind of taken him under my wing. Anyway, he got hit by a car and almost killed 2 years ago and his leg got crushed. He was to have surgery every year to have different rods put in until he is done growing. He seems to really have taken to me and hopefully I can be that someone who helps him so that he can have hope of growing into a good man. It will be hard work, though. He is really messed up from all of the crap. My heart breaks for him. Whoever would do this to a child or expose children to anything bad should die a horrible death….!
Justin, Caleb, Payton, my mom, Jamie, Nate, Natalie, Josh, Josh, and myself are off to Mesquite in the morning for a fun filled weekend in the 70-75 degree weather. I am so excited I can hardly stand it! I am writing it off as a business trip too because of 3 facials I am doing when I get down there. Oh, the joys of your own business.
That is all!

So, I went to my Mary Kay meeting last night and it was spectacular, as usual. I got to try the Microderamabrasion!!! My skin is SO great today. I would put my life on it that ANYONE who tried this would HAVE to have it. I have never been a big MK user, but in the past month that I have had been using it everyday, my skin is cleared up and looking better than it ever has. I am super happy with the results. I am teaching skin care classes now, so if anyone is interested in getting a free facial and having some fun, let me know and I will call you and set it up!!
Work is seeming to get better. The girls that were being bitches to me are not anymore. I am happier!
Next weekend is Mesquite. I am excited. Michael (my best friend) is coming with us now. YIPEE!
Some things I want to do…. - Get in shape. I have been going to the gym for a month now and have not seen the results I want yet. It will come…. - Make more money. I am well on my way! - Clean and organize my room and the boys’ room. - Have all the laundry done at once. - Buy a house!!! - Take a HUGE load of stuff to the DI. I am running out of room FAST! - Be a better friend. Take time just for my friends and make them feel good. - My roots. You can see my blonde coming through. - Be able to quit this job. I want to be in a more positive environment with better people. MARY KAY!!
That is all for today folks!!

It seems that the weekends just get shorter and shorter. I have no time for anything. I am lucky to have them though. Justin and I looked at 2 more houses over the weekend. They were not what we were looking for. Oh well. We are not in a huge hurry. I guess it will take time to get what we want. I gave a Mary Kay skin care class on Friday. It went so well. I loved it. I think I have found my calling… BTW- if anyone is interested in having one, please let me know and we’ll set it up. It is SO fun.
It is Justin’s birthday today. I gave him a big basket of golf stuff. He was super excited. We are getting his tattoo finished this weekend.
Caleb is in Ely again with JD. I miss him really bad.
Payton is getting to be a handful. He never stays in one place for more than a few seconds. He is all over the place. We have to really watch him.
I am pretty good. I am happy. Everything is peachy in my world….

Let’s see, what has been going on in my life? Well, Payton just turned one. That was cool. Our family and some close friends went to Chuck E Cheese. It was really nice to see everyone there who cares about him.
Justin and I have been going to the gym 3-4 times a week, which has been really good for us.
I have a new job aside from this place which makes me really happy and everyone is so positive and backs everyone else because they want them to do great and then I walk in this building and count the minutes that I can walk out of here and never come back. It is such a miserable place to be. Everyone in this building is out to get someone else and everyone talks so much crap it is ridiculous.
Anyway, we are really good. We have been looking at houses for a few weeks. It has been really tough because either we love the house, hate the area, or hate the house, love the area. I am sure everything will work out in the end.
That is about all right now. I really have to get back to work. I hope everyone is doing wonderful and that everyone is happy…..
